Financial Reporting

The mission of the Financial Reporting area is to support the Vice President for Business Affairs and Controller in the preparation of the Financial Statements of the University.  This involves detailed review and analysis of activity within the operating ledger in order to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information that is summarized in the Financial Statements.

The Financial Reporting area coordinates the annual audit performed by the University’s independent auditors, acting as a liaison between the auditors and financial staff. The Financial Reporting area also supports senior management in the areas of financial reporting and analysis, and provides technical accounting assistance to other accounting staff.
